Victor Wembanyama Remains Top Fantasy Pick Despite Finals Exit and Criticism

Despite the Spurs' Finals loss to the Knicks, Victor Wembanyama remains the consensus 1.01 pick for fantasy basketball drafts. His performance in the Finals drew controversy, including a shove on Jalen Brunson in Game 3, an undercut in Game 5, and skipping the post-series handshake. Dan Patrick and Draymond Green have publicly criticized his conduct following the defeat, though fantasy managers remain encouraged by his dominant career trajectory.
