Christian Scott Placed on 15-Day IL with Hip Impingement

The New York Mets have placed right-hander Christian Scott on the 15-day injured list due to a right hip impingement. The move, announced Monday, serves as a significant blow to the team's starting rotation. Further details regarding a specific recovery timeline have not yet been disclosed by the organization. Scott's placement on the IL follows reports earlier in the day that the team was preparing to make the roster move due to an unspecified issue.
