Kevin Gausman Suffers Tough-Luck Loss Despite Strong Start

Gausman did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Yankees, despite a dominant performance. He allowed only one run on one hit and two walks across seven innings of work, while racking up seven strikeouts. Despite his strong outing, the Blue Jays' offense failed to provide the necessary support to secure a win.
