Tarik Skubal Returns from IL, Seeks Form After 3-1 Loss

Tarik Skubal has been reinstated from the injured list following a six-week absence due to an elbow injury. The two-time Cy Young winner returned to action faster than anticipated, though he showed rust in his first start since April 29, pitching 4 2/3 innings in a 3-1 loss to the Guardians. Skubal acknowledged his performance, stating he needs to be better. The Tigers remain optimistic about his role as a pivotal figure in the American League Cy Young race as he regains his form.
