Luinder Avila Struggles in Royals' Loss to Astros

Royals starter Luinder Avila struggled in Friday's 10-8 loss to the Houston Astros. The Royals surrendered nine runs in the first inning, putting them in an early hole. Despite a late rally attempt by the team, the deficit proved too large to overcome as the Royals' bullpen and pitching staff were unable to contain the Astros' offense.
