Brent Rooker Placed on 10-Day IL with Left Knee Bone Bruise

The Athletics have placed outfielder Brent Rooker on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to Tuesday, June 9, due to a bone bruise in his left knee. Rooker will be sidelined indefinitely while the team monitors his recovery progress before establishing a return timeline. The move was announced Friday alongside the activation of shortstop Jacob Wilson. Rooker's absence leaves a gap in the lineup as he focuses on rehabilitation for the knee injury and waits for the swelling to subside.
