Corey Seager Day-to-Day with Rib and Jaw Injuries After Collision

Rangers manager Skip Schumaker announced Friday that shortstop Corey Seager is considered day-to-day after sustaining rib and jaw injuries during Thursday's contest against the Kansas City Royals. As a result, Seager was held out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Boston Red Sox. While the injuries are not currently expected to require an IL stint, the team will monitor his status closely over the weekend to determine when he can return to his spot in the starting lineup.
