Oneil Cruz Placed on 10-Day IL With Fractured Left Hand

The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed Oneil Cruz on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to Monday, following the discovery of non-displaced fourth and fifth metacarpal fractures in his left hand. The injury, located between his ring finger and pinkie, was confirmed after he was removed from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers. Cruz is now shifting his focus to his recovery timeline after initial uncertainty regarding the severity of the hand issue.
