Will Smith to be Placed on 10-Day Injured List Following Neck Injury

Dodgers catcher Will Smith will be placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday due to a neck injury that caused him to miss Wednesday's game against the Pirates. Manager Dave Roberts initially indicated the move was likely, and subsequent reports confirmed the roster transaction. Smith's condition is being monitored closely by the organization as he begins his recovery process.
