Max Scherzer Returns and Hits 3,500 Career Strikeouts

Max Scherzer was reinstated from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Phillies, having been sidelined with forearm and ankle issues. During the outing, he became the 11th pitcher in MLB history to reach 3,500 career strikeouts, achieving the milestone by catching Kyle Schwarber looking at an 86 mph changeup. Despite his return, analysts continue to monitor his performance amid speculation regarding his future with the Blue Jays.
