Nathan Eovaldi Takes Loss After Fading Late

Nathan Eovaldi (5-7) was charged with the loss in Tuesday's game against the Royals. The right-hander pitched 5.2 innings, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three batters. Eovaldi struggled to maintain his early momentum, eventually fading late in the contest as the Rangers' offense failed to provide enough support to overcome the deficit.
