Kris Bubic Begins Rehab Assignment Tuesday Following Elbow Injury

The Royals announced that Bubic will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday as he recovers from an elbow injury. Simultaneously, the Oakland Athletics have expressed trade interest in the left-hander. With the Royals struggling at 27-39, Bubic has emerged as a potential target for contenders seeking starting pitching depth, though his availability remains tied to Kansas City's willingness to commit to a full-scale rebuild.
