Connelly Early Takes the Mound Against Tampa Bay Rays

Left-hander Connelly Early was tapped to start for the Red Sox in their series opener against the Tampa Bay Rays. Despite a 3-1 loss for Boston, Early pitched well during his outing. He has been largely effective throughout the 2026 season, and the team relied on him to provide a strong performance on the road to kick off the series in St. Pete.
