Konsta Helenius Shines at 2026 IIHF World Championship

Following the Buffalo Sabres' six-game elimination by the Montreal Canadiens, Konsta Helenius has made a significant impression at the 2026 IIHF World Championship. His breakout performance on the international stage, combined with his brief NHL exposure, suggests his developmental ceiling may be considerably higher than initial projections. Helenius is currently leveraging this momentum to solidify his status as a rising talent within the Sabres' organization.
