Brent Burns Emerges as Potential Minnesota Wild Target

Brent Burns is being linked to the Minnesota Wild as a potential free-agent target this offseason. General Manager Bill Guerin is reportedly seeking veteran stability and durability to bolster the team's blueline. A reunion with the NHL's reigning iron man is viewed as a way to bring a franchise icon home and provide significant experience to the defensive corps. The move would align with the Wild's goal of strengthening their roster depth for the next season.
