Malkin Officially Re-Signs, Penguins Shift Focus to Chinakhov

Evgeni Malkin has officially re-signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins, solidifying his return to the team. This significant move now places Egor Chinakhov at the top of the team's list for potential returning players this offseason. Malkin's re-signing allows General Manager Kyle Dubas to shift focus to other key roster decisions, with Chinakhov's contract status becoming a primary concern for the Penguins as they prepare for the next season and aim to build a competitive roster.
