Alexander Nikishin Ruled Out for Game 2 Against Philadelphia

Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Alexander Nikishin has been ruled out for Monday's Game 2 of the second-round playoff series against the Philadelphia Flyers. Nikishin also missed the series opener, a 3-0 Hurricanes victory. While Carolina currently holds the series lead, the defenseman's continued absence forces the team to adjust their blue line depth. No specific return timeline or injury details have been disclosed by the team as they prepare to host the Flyers for the second game of the series.
