Scott Wedgewood Allows Six Goals in Wild Series Opener

Colorado Avalanche goaltender Scott Wedgewood surrendered six goals in Sunday night's 9-6 victory over the Minnesota Wild. This performance followed a dominant first round where he allowed only five goals total during the sweep of the Los Angeles Kings. Despite the high-scoring affair, the Avalanche managed to secure the win in a game described by teammates as a "weird one." The series is set to resume Tuesday night at Ball Arena.
