Jesper Wallstedt to Start in Goal for Game 1 Against Avalanche

Jesper Wallstedt has been confirmed as the starting goaltender for the Minnesota Wild in Sunday's Game 1 matchup against the Colorado Avalanche. This assignment, reported by Tracey Myers of NHL.com, puts the netminder in the crease for the opening game of the series. Wallstedt will look to provide a strong defensive foundation as the Wild begin their postseason campaign on the road.
