McDavid Labels Oilers 'Average' After First-Round Playoff Exit

Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers were eliminated from the playoffs following a 5-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks in Game 6. The defeat concludes a disappointing season for the two-time defending Western Conference champions, who struggled against the Ducks' offensive depth. Following the loss, McDavid offered a candid assessment of the team's performance, stating, "We were an average team all year." The exit marks a premature end to the Oilers' postseason run after a six-game series.
