Stars Captain Jamie Benn Fined by NHL for Cross-Checking Incident

Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn has been fined by the NHL following a cross-checking incident involving Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman during Game 5 of their first-round playoff series. The infraction occurred with 5:15 remaining in the contest, which the Wild won 4-2 to take a 3-2 series lead. Despite the disciplinary action, questions remain regarding whether the fine will impact the aggressive, physical style of play Benn has exhibited throughout the current postseason.
