Paolo Banchero Drops 45 Points in Hard-Fought Game 5 Loss

Paolo Banchero registered 45 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 41 minutes during a 116-109 loss to the Pistons. Banchero shot 17-of-31 from the field and 6-of-11 from 3-point range in the defeat. Additionally, Banchero provided a roster update earlier in the day, noting that teammate Franz Wagner was unlikely to suit up for the contest due to a calf injury, further complicating the Magic's rotation.
