Nikolaj Ehlers Sidelined with Lower-Body Injury; Return Expected for Round 2

Carolina Hurricanes winger Nikolaj Ehlers is working toward a return for the second round of the NHL playoffs after being a late scratch for the team's series-clinching win against Ottawa. Ehlers is currently dealing with a lower-body injury, but the Hurricanes' first-round sweep provides extra recovery time. Coach Rod Brind'Amour remains optimistic that Ehlers will be available as the team awaits their next opponent following their successful opening series sweep of the Senators.
