Kuzmenko and Kings Eliminated After First-Round Sweep by Avalanche

Andrei Kuzmenko and the Los Angeles Kings have been eliminated from the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs following a first-round sweep at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche. The Kings become the second team to exit the postseason after failing to secure a single win in the series. Kuzmenko, a former Canuck, saw his playoff run come to an abrupt end as the Avalanche dominated the matchup to advance, leaving Los Angeles to reflect on a disappointing finish to their 2026 campaign.
