Devon Toews Scores in Third Period as Avalanche Advance to Second Round

Devon Toews found the scoresheet in the Colorado Avalanche's 5-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings, netting a goal in the third period to help complete a first-round series sweep. Toews' contribution was part of a late-game surge that put the game out of reach for the Kings. As a key component of the Avalanche defense, his scoring adds to the team's balanced attack. With the victory, Toews and the top-seeded Avalanche officially move on to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
