Moves Into Starting Lineup as Thunder Bench Dominates Suns

Ajay Mitchell moved into a starting role for the Oklahoma City Thunder during their Game 3 victory over the Phoenix Suns. While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the scoring, Mitchell's insertion into the lineup was part of a broader tactical success where the Thunder bench tripled the output of the Suns' reserves. This roster adjustment contributed to OKC's 121-109 win and a 3-0 series lead. Mitchell’s promotion reflects the team's confidence in its depth during this dominant playoff run.
