Jake Sanderson Forced Out of Game 3 After Controversial Headshot

Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson exited Thursday's Game 3 against the Carolina Hurricanes following a "blatant" hit to the head by Taylor Hall. The impact sent Sanderson's helmet flying, and he did not return to the contest. Coach Travis Green expressed frustration over the lack of a review on the play. With Sanderson's status now uncertain, the Senators face a 3-0 series deficit and the brink of elimination after a loss characterized by a struggling power play.
