Luka Dončić Remains Out Indefinitely for First-Round Series

Luka Dončić remains sidelined indefinitely and is not expected to return for the Lakers' first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets. Having been out since April 2, the star playmaker's recovery timeline is significantly behind that of teammate Austin Reaves. With no immediate return in sight, the Lakers must continue to navigate the critical early stages of the 2026 postseason without their primary offensive engine.
