Scores Short-Handed Goal to Extend Flyers' Lead in Game 2 Win

Garnet Hathaway provided a crucial short-handed goal just minutes after Porter Martone's opener to help the Philadelphia Flyers defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-0. The goal extended the Flyers' lead and further deflated the Penguins' power play during Monday's Game 2. Hathaway's contribution on special teams was a key component of the victory, which gives Philadelphia a 2-0 series lead as they look to advance past the first round of the NHL playoffs.
