Makes 28 Saves in Game 2 Victory to Even Series Against Wild

Jake Oettinger stopped 28 shots, including a critical point-blank attempt by Kirill Kaprzov with 2.5 minutes remaining, to lead the Dallas Stars to a 4-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild. The win evens the first-round Western Conference series at 1-1. Oettinger, confirmed as the starter by Bruce LeVine, remained the primary option for Dallas as they defended home ice. His late-game heroics on the penalty kill preserved the lead during a penalty-filled second period.
