Suffers 3-0 Shutout Loss as Penguins Fall Behind 2-0 in Series

Stuart Skinner served as the starting goaltender for the Pittsburgh Penguins in Monday's Game 2 against the Philadelphia Flyers. Despite his presence in the crease, the Penguins were shut out 3-0, falling behind 2-0 in the series. Skinner allowed goals to rookie Porter Martone and Garnet Hathaway before an empty-netter sealed the result. The Penguins made no lineup changes from Game 1, but Skinner and the defense couldn't prevent the Flyers from taking control.
