Luke Kennard Explodes for Career-High 27 Points in Game 1 Victory

Luke Kennard delivered a dominant performance in the Lakers' 107-98 Game 1 win over the Houston Rockets, scoring a career playoff-high 27 points. Inserted into the starting lineup alongside Marcus Smart and LeBron James to address backcourt injury concerns involving Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, Kennard’s scoring outburst and disciplined defensive effort were instrumental. His efficiency allowed Los Angeles to capitalize on Houston's roster absences and take a 1-0 lead in the series.
