Kevin Durant Sidelined by Knee Contusion for Rockets' Playoff Opener

Kevin Durant was ruled out for the Rockets' playoff opener against the Lakers after suffering a right knee contusion during practice. Despite being listed as questionable and testing the knee pregame, the star forward was unable to play. His absence significantly impacted the Rockets, who fell 107-98 to Los Angeles. While the team remains optimistic the injury is not a long-term concern, his unavailability shifted the series outlook, with analysts noting the Lakers' improved chances.
