Cleared for Game 1 Defensive Role Against Lakers

Amen Thompson has been omitted from the injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers after previously being listed for rest. Thompson is expected to play a vital defensive role for the Houston Rockets in the first-round series. His contributions are viewed as a critical component of Houston's strategy to contain the Lakers' veteran stars. The rookie's availability ensures the Rockets have their full defensive rotation ready for the postseason opener.
