Roope Hintz to Miss Start of Playoffs Following Lower-Body Injury Setback

Dallas Stars top-line center Roope Hintz will miss the start of the postseason after suffering a setback in his recovery from a lower-body injury. Head coach Glen Gulutzan confirmed Wednesday that Hintz, who has been sidelined since getting hurt in a shootout loss to Colorado on March 6, is not expected to be ready for the beginning of the first-round series. The loss of the star pivot is a significant blow as the Stars prepare for their playoff run without their top center.
