Kochetkov Ineligible for Tuesday's Start Despite IR Activation

Although Pyotr Kochetkov was officially activated from injured reserve following his recovery from a hip injury, he will not defend the net against the Islanders on Tuesday. A roster technicality has rendered him ineligible to start the contest, delaying his return to the Hurricanes' lineup despite his clearance from the injury report.
