Evgeni Malkin Scratched as Penguins Rest Core for Playoffs

Evgeni Malkin was a healthy scratch for the Pittsburgh Penguins' final regular-season game against the St. Louis Blues. The decision was part of a strategic effort by the team to manage player load and rest their core group, including Sidney Crosby and others, ahead of the upcoming postseason. The Penguins ultimately fell 7-5 in the contest, closing out their regular season schedule.
