Mouhamed Gueye Cleared to Play Sunday Despite Shoulder Inflammation

Mouhamed Gueye has been cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Miami Heat. The Atlanta Hawks forward was previously listed as questionable due to right shoulder inflammation, which put his availability for the regular-season contest in doubt. However, according to Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network, Gueye is now available and will be part of the rotation. His presence provides the Hawks with much-needed frontcourt depth as they approach the opening tip-off in Miami.
