Ovechkin Weighs Retirement After Capitals' 3-0 Win

Alex Ovechkin recorded an assist, three shots, and five hits in a 3-0 win over Pittsburgh. As the Capitals fight for a playoff spot, the 40-year-old captain stated he will decide on his future—retiring or playing a 22nd season—during the offseason. Following the game, he declined a formal handshake with Sidney Crosby. The Capitals must beat Columbus on Tuesday and hope for Philadelphia losses to qualify for the postseason.
