Suffers Loss to Kraken After Starting in Goal for Calgary
Devin Cooley was slated to start in goal for the Calgary Flames on Saturday against the Seattle Kraken, a move confirmed by Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan. However, the night ended in a 4-1 defeat for Calgary. Cooley was eventually pulled for an extra attacker as the Flames attempted to rally from a two-goal deficit late in the game. The loss came despite Seattle's Nikke Kokko making his first NHL start and nearly scoring an empty-net goal on the Flames.
