Scores 29 Points to Lead Rockets to Eighth Consecutive Victory

Kevin Durant led the Houston Rockets to their eighth straight win on Thursday, scoring 29 points in a 113-102 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. The Rockets, who have already clinched a postseason berth, are currently contending with Denver and the Lakers for improved playoff seeding in the Western Conference. Durant’s offensive leadership was central to overcoming a shorthanded Philadelphia squad, as Houston continues to be one of the hottest teams in the league entering April.
