Joel Embiid Out Following Emergency Appendectomy

Joel Embiid underwent a successful emergency appendectomy on April 10, 2026, and has been discharged from a Houston hospital. The procedure rules him out for the 76ers' final two regular-season games, forcing the team to prepare for the Play-In Tournament without him. Separately, radio host Jon Marks issued an apology for previously accusing Embiid of faking an illness, stating he felt like an idiot for the comments made earlier in the day.
