Colten Ellis Records First NHL Career Shutout in 5-0 Win Over Columbus

Rookie goaltender Colten Ellis stopped all 37 shots he faced to record his first NHL career shutout in the Buffalo Sabres' 5-0 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. The win, which dented Columbus' playoff hopes, was fueled by two third-period goals from Josh Doan, alongside tallies from Peyton Krebs, Jack Quinn, and Rasmus Dahlin. Ellis' performance was the highlight of a dominant defensive effort by the Sabres.
