Igor Shesterkin Allows Three in 5-3 Loss to Buffalo

Igor Shesterkin started in goal for the New York Rangers during Wednesday's 5-3 home finale loss to the Buffalo Sabres. Shesterkin allowed the tiebreaking goal to Jason Zucker at 7:14 of the third period, which followed an earlier game-tying goal by Alex Tuch at 5:50. Despite the team's efforts, the Rangers were unable to overcome the Sabres' late-game surge, resulting in a disappointing conclusion to the Rangers' home schedule.
