Cale Makar Expected to Miss Multiple Games With Upper-Body Injury

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar is likely to miss a few more games due to an upper-body injury, per a report from Corey Masisak of The Denver Post on Tuesday. The elite blueliner's absence continues to impact the Avalanche's defensive rotation and power-play units. While a specific return date has not been established, the expectation of missing multiple upcoming contests suggests a cautious approach to his recovery as the team manages without their top defender.
