Luka Dončić Out for Season; Seeks Award Eligibility Waiver

Luka Dončić will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 regular season after suffering a left hamstring injury against the Thunder. The injury jeopardizes his MVP and All-NBA eligibility due to the 65-game requirement, prompting Dončić to apply for an Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge under the CBA. While his status for the postseason remains uncertain, the Lakers face significant questions regarding their championship outlook without their star.
