Nathan MacKinnon Becomes First NHL Player to Reach 50 Goals

MacKinnon made history Wednesday, becoming the first NHL player this season to reach the 50-goal milestone. He achieved the feat with a liner against Vancouver's Kevin Lankinen, joining Milan Hejduk as the only Avalanche skaters to lead the league to 50 goals. In Wednesday's 8-6 loss to the Canucks, he recorded one goal on seven shots and added four hits. He remains a dominant force, cementing his place in franchise history with this latest scoring achievement.
