Joel Embiid Ruled Out for Wednesday's Matchup Due to Illness

Joel Embiid was officially ruled out for Wednesday's 153-131 victory over the Washington Wizards due to an illness. This designation followed confusion earlier in the day when Embiid posted on X claiming he intended to play, contradicting the team's official injury report. Despite the conflicting reports and speculation, the 76ers confirmed he would not participate in the contest.
