Cale Makar Exits Game Against Flames With Upper-Body Injury

Cale Makar has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Calgary Flames after sustaining an upper-body injury. While the Avalanche secured a dominant 9-2 victory, the win was overshadowed by Makar's departure. The severity of the injury and his potential timeline for return remain unknown at this time. Further medical evaluation is required to determine the impact on the team's defensive rotation moving forward.
