Ilya Sorokin Pulled in Career-Worst 8-3 Loss to Penguins

Ilya Sorokin endured a difficult outing as the Islanders surrendered two-goal leads in an 8-3 loss to the Penguins at UBS Arena. Sorokin was pulled from the game, marking only his second removal from a start this season. Despite being confirmed as the starter after leading practice earlier Monday, the goaltender faced little defensive support during the collapse. This performance stands as a career-worst outing, leaving the netminder to wait for his next opportunity at redemption.
